11 Dead Miners of "Raspadskaya" Ask Medvedev to Bury Them

The bureau of the local committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in Kemerovo addressed the governor A.Tuleev with offer to declare May, 8th the Mourning Day in Kuzbass.

"It's anniversary of tragedy on the mine "Raspadskaya", - is told in petition. - Explosion will continue echoing for many years in the hearts of every citizen of Kuzbass. Sharing grief of families of dead miners, we understand that families of 11 miners whose fathers, husbands and children are still now underground will suffer most of all..."

I will remind that two explosions of methane thundered one after the other on the night of May, 9th last year in "Raspadskaya". They carried away lives of 90 miners.

The mine was restored at the accelerated tempo and for the sake of profits of its owners - Abramovich, EvrAzHolding and Co it started extraction of coal. So, a question about lifting of the dead workers, as you can understand, has lost its urgency. Though Mr. Tuleev promised widows to lift their mortal remains in September.

One may not be a seer to predict reaction of the lord of Kemerovo territory. A lot has been written about his desertion. Though it's necessary to remind something.

On the eve of last parliamentary elections he put forward a slogan: "No communist from Kuzbass in the State Duma!" The first secretary of the local committee N.Ostanina managed to pass. Since then former opponent of Yeltsin mode, cochairman of the National Patriotic Union of Russia and Zyuganov's doubler on presidential election of 1996 declared the woman enemy and started hunting her. He even made a complaint "about honor and dignity protection" against her and even got from her and the local committee considerable sums.

Thus all four years he didn't leave attempts to deprive hated woman deputy's mandate. According to Tuleev, to represent mining Kuzbass in the parliament should such characters as Sliska whom even native Saratov's members of the party "Edinaya Russia" gave up. He listed her to the Duma.

Amazingly but during the year president Medvedev never recollected buried in blockages miners, never demanded to find and lift their bodies. Half a year they were registered as "missing persons", that's legally - shirkers. Only half a year later widows managed to receive in the court certificate of death at the workplace. 

When in the morning, being still live, they choked and searched for the way out from dark mine tunnels, he entertained himself by watching concert of army amateur performances due to some misunderstanding named Victory Parade from his VIP-loge on the Red Square. He didn't declare national mourning even after its ending, he went to Near-Eastern tour. Phooey, 90 victims ... It's not the Polish plane.

This professorial sonny-lawyer not having hammered a nail into the national economy simply has no notion what miner's work is. There's such sensation that till 40 years he was grown up in a glass house, whence he was straightly directed to supervise the state. It is necessary to see with own eyes what children's pleasure appears on his face during excursion on a farm when he pulls cows' boobs. He looks happily crying how milk streams. Earlier he was sure that milk's extracted from packages, cottage cheese - from cheese cakes and rolls grow on trees.

"Our target - modernization of economy and political system", - he has been repeating as bewitched for already four years not understanding that it can be only means. But what could it achieve?

Writer A.Prokhanov publicly named him on the air of "Echo Moscow" inadequate and told that by incontinence of speech he resembles late Gorbachev. The last fooled people with "reorganization" till it finished in firing. While Medvedev repeats one and the same about investments, innovations in the human capital, modernization.

Prokhanov also laughed at Medvedev's meeting with gangmen from "Comedy Club" on April, 1^st and his clumsy "boogie-woogie" with fellow students. Whether he is interested in the story with some dead miners?

Prime Minister Putin also betrayed dead miners. After all he forbade Gryzlov to create parliamentary commission for investigation of monstrous accident in the mine though it was demanded by fraction of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, socialist-revolutionary and LDPR. Whether he had other way out if Roman Abromovich is among its owners?

"Gallery slave" also aspires not to lag behind the successor in having fun. He either feeds elks from small bottle or sings love song at the dishonest "charitable concert" of his friend Kiselyov. He meets bikers or goes skiing to Sochi. Whence he takes so much spare time?

There were so many plots about increase of the salary to miners to pay not on the base of extraction volume but from actual stay underground! There were so many promises to force coal barons to fork out for safety facilities. Where is it all?

All court mass-media also keep silent about causes of the tragedy and 11 not lifted bodies. All this is simply monstrous in relation to mothers, widows, children, families of buried alive under blockages. What could be said here? Until you rub the power into the fact - it won't recollect its elementary duties.

Now imagine just for a second that you have possibility to tell few words about it to our majestic kid. What would you advise him?

1. To continue having fun and "not to notice" dead miners in "Raspadskaya"?

2. To declare national mourning in the country and to demand in categorical form that in the shortest terms owners should find and lift the bodies?

3. To ask the world community from which he waits investments for help?

Of course there are other variants. I have simple questions: when the bodies of victims killed by avidity of mine's owners will be lifted? When guilty of their death will be brought to the court?
